Welcome to the GCFCG web site @ www.gcfcg.org !The GCFCG (Greater Columbia Fantasy Costumer's Guild) is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to study, presentation, creation, wearing and informing people about costumes, Past, Present, and Future. We are based in the Columbia Maryland area, but we serve the state of Maryland and the Washington DC metro area. In fact, our membership includes residents of Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Massachusetts . We are a part of the International Costumers Guild, and actually are the founding chapter of that organization. One of the events that we typically support or actually run is
Costume Con, an annual gathering of like-minded folk who participate in the many
faceted activity that is costuming.
Notice:
The
GCFCG site is undergoing SERIOUS revsion and has some problems right
now. The web hosting provider lost the site at one point.
It is being
restored now, however, not all functionality (calendar and mailing
list) have been fully restored yet. The photo album was restored
on 9/12/04.
